WYOROADS WIdget - updated to version 3.1 - December 25, 2007 Merry Christmas!! - Featuring Teton Pass, this cam Widget takes advantage of the Wyoming Department of Transportation's statewide network of webcams, any of which may be selected from the backside popup menu. The Widget is distributed for free as a public service, hopefully to help make driving in this Oh-So-Big state a safer experience.
About this update:
Months after the creative(?) folks at WYDOT changed all their webcams. They added a few new ones, and moved all of them. In order to minimize the hassle, if and when they do this again, I've added an update feature that will check the current version on this site, and then provide a download link.
2.7 update ... WYDOT keeps fiddling. Keep checking here for the latest revision.
Now, on Christmas Day, with this 3.1 version update, I've added fourteen more, mostly private, webcams, and also, the three additional WYDOT cams on Teton Pass - one featuring a view of Glory Peak.

Countdown to the Eschaton

December 21, 2012, only dd days away - The end of the world or something like it ... Terence Mckenna had conceived of this event as more a global paradigm shift than a literal "end of the world". The "Long Count" of the ancient Maya corresponded so closely to his "Time Wave Zero" theories involving the acceleration of novelty in the world, correspond so closely, we thought we'd put these together in this countdown Widget. Let's all party like it's 2011!

James Joyce Concordance Widget

Working in conjunction with our Concordance to the works of this most 20th century of authors, has been long awaited by scholars and students world wide. The Widget launches a case insensitive search of any of the four books (Finnegans Wake, Ulysses, Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, and Dubliners), the Widget has access to, with Preferences for the book as well as whole or partial word search.
(11/26/2007) Version 2.2 now has the same update checking abilities as the Wyoming Webcams Widget, as well as improved graphics, and code reworked using Dascode^®.
